Musnad Ahmad 33:305

Yahya narrated to us, from Abd al-Malik, who said: Ata narrated to us, from Jabir, who said: I witnessed the prayer with the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, on a day of Eid. He began with the prayer before the sermon, without an Adhan or an Iqamah. When he finished the prayer, he stood, leaning on Bilal, and he praised Allah and extolled Him, and he exhorted the people and reminded them, and urged them to obey Him. Then he went to the women, and Bilal was with him. He commanded them to fear Allah, and he exhorted them, and praised Allah and extolled Him, and urged them to obey Him. Then he said: "Give charity, for most of you are the firewood of Hell." A woman from the lower class of women, with dark spots on her cheeks, said: "Why, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Because you complain much, and you are ungrateful to your husbands." They began taking off their jewelry, their necklaces, their earrings, and their rings, throwing them into Bilal’s garment, giving them as charity.
