Yahya narrated to us, from Shu'bah, Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir narrated to me, I heard Jabir ibn Abdullah saying: I sought permission to enter upon the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said: "Who is this?" I said: "I." He said: "I, I," as if he disliked that.
