Musnad Ahmad 33:346

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Dawud ibn Qays narrated to us, from 'Ubayd Allah ibn Miqsam, that he heard Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Beware of injustice, for injustice is darkness on the Day of Resurrection. And beware of stinginess, for stinginess destroyed those who were before you; it incited them to shed their blood and to deem lawful what was forbidden to them."
