Musnad Ahmad 33:353

Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah saying: "When the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would deliver a sermon, he would lean against a trunk of a date palm tree from the pillars of the mosque. When the pulpit was made for him and he ascended it, the pillar shook like the moaning of a she-camel, until the people of the mosque heard it. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, descended to it and embraced it, and it became still." Abd al-Razzaq and Rawh said: "That pillar shook." Rawh said: "He embraced it, and it became still." Abd al-Razzaq said: "It became silent."
