Musnad Ahmad 33:376

Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, Zuhayr narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire are distinguished, and the people of Paradise enter Paradise and the people of the Fire enter the Fire, the Messengers will stand and intercede. It will be said: 'Go—or depart—and whoever you recognize, bring them out.' So they will bring them out having been scorched, and they will cast them into a river—or upon a river—called 'the Life'." He said: "Their scorched remains will fall off on the bank of the river, and they will emerge white like mushrooms. Then they will intercede, and it will be said: 'Go—or depart—and whoever you find in his heart the weight of a qirat of faith, bring them out.'" He said: "So they will bring out human beings. Then they will intercede, and it will be said: 'Go—or depart—and whoever you find in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of faith, bring him out.' Then Allah will say: 'I will now bring out by My knowledge and My mercy.'" He said: "So He will bring out multiples of what they brought out, and multiples of that. Then it will be written on their necks: 'The freed ones of Allah.' Then they will enter Paradise, and they will be called therein 'the Jahannamiyyun' (the Hell-dwellers)."
