Hadith 33:404
Abu Amir narrated to us, Fulayh narrated to us, from Sa’id ibn al-Harith, from Jabir, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered upon a man from the Ansar, and with him was a companion of his. He gave the greeting of peace, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him: "If you have water that has spent the night in a waterskin, [then bring it], otherwise we will drink directly from the source." The narrator said: The man was diverting water into his garden. The man said: "I have water that has spent the night." So he went with them to the trellis, and he poured water into a cup, then he milked a domestic sheep into it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) drank, and then the man who came with him drank.
