Musnad Ahmad 33:41

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah saying: "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, entered one day into a palm grove belonging to Banu al-Najjar. He heard the voices of men from Banu al-Najjar who had died in the Pre-Islamic period (Jahiliyyah) being punished in their graves. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, went out alarmed, and he commanded his companions to seek refuge from the punishment of the grave."
