Abu Amir and Abu Ahmad narrated to us, they said: Kathir bin Zayd narrated to us, Al-Harith bin Yazid narrated to me—Abu Ahmad said: from Al-Harith bin Abi Yazid—he said: I heard Jabir bin Abdullah saying: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Do not wish for death, for the terror of the emergence (the afterlife) is severe. And indeed, it is part of happiness that the servant's life is prolonged, and Allah provides him with repentance."
