Musnad Ahmad 33:451

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, my father narrated to us, al-Jurayri narrated to us, from Abu Nadra, from Jabir, who said: I entered the areas around the mosque, and the Banu Salama wanted to move near the mosque. That reached the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, so he said to them: "It has reached me that you want to move near the mosque?" They said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, we have indeed wanted that." He said: "O Banu Salama, [stay in] your dwellings, your footsteps are recorded. [Stay in] your dwellings, your footsteps are recorded."
