Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, Jabir informed me that the commander of the expedition was Ghalib al-Laythi, and Qutbah bin Amir, who entered upon the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in the palm grove while he was in the state of Ihram, then he exited through the door, and he had climbed over the wall from the front. And Abdullah bin Unays, who asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about the Night of Decree, and twenty-two nights had passed. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Seek it in these last seven that remain of the month."
