Musnad Ahmad 33:511

Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Increase in [the use of] these sandals, for one of you remains as if he is riding as long as he is wearing sandals."
