Hajjaj narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah saying: "The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade that any of the animals be killed by being tied up [as a target]."
