Abu Salamah al-Khuza'i narrated to us, Sulayman—meaning Ibn Bilal—informed us, Ja'far ibn Muhammad informed him or narrated to him, from his father, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, that he heard it from him, he said: "We arrived in Makkah with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." He said: "So he performed Tawaf seven times, and he jogged (ramala) for three, and walked for four."
