Musnad Ahmad 33:549

Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Jabir, that Umm Malik al-Bahziyyah used to gift clarified butter to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in a skin container of hers. Once, her sons were asking her for a condiment, and she had nothing. She went to her skin container in which she used to gift to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and she found clarified butter in it. It continued to provide a condiment for her sons until she squeezed it. She came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he said: "Did you squeeze it?" She said: "Yes." He said: "Had you left it, it would have remained for you permanently."
