Musnad Ahmad 33:561

Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Jabir, that they went on an expedition between Makkah and Madinah. A severe wind stirred up against them, to the point that it pushed the saddles. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "This is for the death of a hypocrite." We returned to Madinah, and we found that a hypocrite, who was of great hypocrisy, had died.
