Musnad Ahmad 33:564

Hassan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, he said: And Jabir informed me that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "Its people will surely abandon it while it is flourishing." They said: "Then who will eat it, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "The scavengers of the birds and the beasts of prey."
