Hadith 33:582

Sayyar ibn Hatim narrated to us, Ja'far—meaning ibn Sulayman—narrated to us, al-Ja'd Abu 'Uthman narrated to us, Anas ibn Malik narrated to us, from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah al-Ansari, who said: The companions of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) complained to him of thirst. He said: So he called for a vessel, and poured a little water into it. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) placed his hand into it and said: "Drink." So the people drank. He said: I saw springs gushing from between the fingers of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace).
