Musnad Ahmad 33:585

Musa ibn Dawud narrated to us, Fulayh narrated to us, from Sa’id ibn al-Harith, from Jabir ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Ansari, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered, along with a man from his companions, upon a man from the Ansar in a garden, while he was diverting water. He said: "Do you have water that spent the night in a waterskin? Otherwise, we will drink directly from the source." He said: "I have water that spent the night." Then he went to a trellis, milked a sheep for him, then poured the water that had spent the night over it, and gave it to him to drink, and he did the same for his companion.
