Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Hashimi narrated to us, Isma'il—meaning Ibn Ja'far—narrated to us, Dawud ibn Bakr ibn Abi al-Furat informed me, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Whatever its large amount intoxicates, then its small amount is haram."
