Surayj narrated to us, Abd al-Aziz—meaning Ibn Abd Allah—narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Jabir ibn Abd Allah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, for every prophet there is a disciple (hawari), and my disciple is al-Zubayr."
