Musnad Ahmad 33:604

Musa ibn Dawud narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, that he asked Jabir about the *Wurud* (the arrival/coming to the bridge). He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: "On the Day of Resurrection, we will be upon a mound above the people. Then the nations will be summoned with their idols and what they used to worship, the first, then the next. Then our Lord, Mighty and Majestic is He, will come to us after that and say: 'What are you waiting for?' They will say: 'We are waiting for our Lord, Mighty and Majestic is He.' He will say: 'I am your Lord.' They will say: 'Until we look at Him.'" He said: "Then He will manifest Himself to them while He is laughing, and He will give every person among them—hypocrite and believer—a light. Then darkness will cover them. Then they will follow Him, and the hypocrites will be with them upon the bridge of Hell, in which there are hooks and thorns that seize whomsoever He wills. Then the light of the hypocrites will be extinguished, and the believers will be saved. The first group will be saved, their faces like the moon on the night of the full moon, seventy thousand who will not be brought to account. Then those who follow them, like the brightest star in the sky, and then so on, until intercession is permitted. They will intercede until whoever said 'There is no god but Allah' and had in his heart the weight of a barleycorn is brought out. They will be placed in the courtyard of Paradise, and the people of Paradise will begin to pour water upon them until they grow like the growth of something in a flood, and their burning will depart. Then he will ask Allah, Mighty and Majestic is He, until He grants him the world and ten times its like."
