Musnad Ahmad 33:633

Musa narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, that he asked Jabir about clapping and glorifying (tasbih). Jabir said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "Clapping is for women in prayer, and glorifying is for men."
