Musnad Ahmad 33:649

Musa narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "If one of you shrouds his brother, let him make his shroud good. And pray over the deceased four takbirs, in the night and the day, it is the same."
