Musnad Ahmad 33:664

Hujayn and Yunus narrated to us, they said: Al-Layth ibn Sa’d narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "That he ordered a man who used to give arrows as charity in the mosque, that he should not bring them unless he was holding them by their arrowheads."
