Musnad Ahmad 33:673

Abdullah ibn al-Harith narrated to us, Thawr ibn Yazid narrated to me, from Sulayman ibn Musa, from Ata ibn Abi Rabah, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: A man asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about the time of prayer. He said: "Pray with me." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, prayed the morning prayer when the dawn broke. Then he prayed the noon prayer when the sun passed the meridian. Then he prayed the afternoon prayer when a man’s shadow was equal to him. Then he prayed the sunset prayer when the sun set. Then he prayed the night prayer when the twilight disappeared. Then he prayed the morning prayer when it was bright. Then he prayed the noon prayer when a man’s shadow was equal to him. Then he prayed the afternoon prayer when a man’s shadow was twice his length. Then he prayed the sunset prayer before the twilight disappeared. Then he prayed the night prayer. Some of them said: [It was] a third of the night, and some of them said: [It was] half of it.
