Musnad Ahmad 33:683

Zakariya narrated to us, Ubaydullah and Husayn ibn Muhammad informed us, they said: Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, from Jabir, who said: While we were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in our rows during the prayer—the Dhuhr or the Asr prayer—the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, reached out for something, then he stepped back, and the people stepped back. When he finished the prayer, Ubayy ibn Ka’b said to him: "You did something in the prayer that you did not use to do." He said: "Paradise was presented to me with what it contains of splendor and radiance, so I reached out for a cluster of grapes from it to bring it to you, but it was obstructed between me and it. Had I brought it to you, those between the heaven and the earth would have eaten from it without diminishing it in the slightest." "Then the Fire was presented to me, and when I felt its scorching heat, I stepped back from it. The majority of those I saw in it were women who, if they are entrusted, they disclose; if they are asked, they are stingy; and if they are asked (for something), they are persistent." Husayn said: "And if they are given, they are ungrateful." "And I saw in it Luhay ibn ‘Amr dragging his intestines in the Fire, and the person I saw who most resembled him was Ma’bad ibn Aktham al-Ka’bi." Ma’bad said: "O Messenger of Allah, should I fear for myself because of his resemblance, even though he is a father?" He said: "No, you are a believer, and he is a disbeliever." Husayn said: "And he was the first to lead the Arabs to the worship of idols." Husayn said: "I stepped back from it, and had it not been for that, it would have covered you."
