Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Abu Uways narrated to us, Sharhabil narrated to us, from Jabir, from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: That he forbade the price of a dog, and he said: "It is a food of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance)."
