Al-Hakam ibn Nafi’ narrated to us, Safwan ibn ‘Amr narrated to us, from Ma’iz al-Tamimi, from Jabir ibn ‘Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked: "Do the people of Paradise eat?" He said: "Yes, and they drink, but they do not urinate therein, nor do they defecate, nor do they spit. That will only be through belching and perspiration like the scent of musk. They will be inspired to glorify and praise Allah, just as you are inspired to breathe."
