Musnad Jabir ibn Abdullah (RA)

Hadith 33:7

Yahya ibn Adam and Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, they said: Zuhayr narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir. Yahya said in his narration: He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him—or he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "If the sandal strap of one of you breaks, let him not walk in one sandal until he repairs his strap, and let him not walk in one leather sock, and let him not eat with his left hand, and let him not sit in the *ihtiba* position (wrapping the arms around the legs) while wearing a single garment, and let him not wrap himself in the *al-samma'* style (a way of wrapping a garment that leaves the arms uncovered)."

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
