Yunus narrated to us, Salih ibn Muslim ibn Ruman narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr Muhammad ibn Muslim informed me, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If a man were to give a woman as a dowry a handful of food, she would be lawful for him."
