Ibrahim ibn Abi al-Abbas narrated to us, Abu al-Malih narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil narrated to us, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The first news that reached us regarding the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was that a woman had a companion (a jinn). He said: He came to her in the form of a bird and landed on a trunk they had. He said: She said, "Will you not descend so that we may tell you and you may tell us?" He said: "A man has emerged in Makkah who has forbidden us from adultery and prohibited us from fleeing."
