Musnad Ahmad 33:720

Ibrahim ibn Abi al-Abbas narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi al-Zinad narrated to us, from Amr ibn Abi Amr, my master al-Muttalib ibn Abdullah ibn Hantab informed me, That Jabir ibn Abdullah said: I prayed the Eid al-Adha prayer with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. When he finished, a ram was brought to him, and he slaughtered it. He said: "In the name of Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. O Allah, this is on behalf of me and on behalf of whoever from my nation has not offered a sacrifice."
