Musnad Ahmad 33:722

Yunus and Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever revives dead land, he has a reward in it, and whatever the creatures eat from it, it is for him as charity." And Ibn Abi Bukayr said: "Whoever revives dead land, it is his."
