Qutaybah narrated to us, Bakr bin Mudar narrated to us, from ‘Amr bin Jabir al-Hadrami, from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah al-Ansari, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The one who flees from the plague is like the one who flees from the battlefield. And the one who remains patient in it has the reward of a martyr."
