Musnad Ahmad 33:763

Qutaybah narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from 'Umarah ibn Ghaziyyah, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah, that a man came from Jayshan—and Jayshan is in Yemen—and he asked the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about a drink they drink which is made in their land from maize, called *al-mizr*. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Is it intoxicating?" He said: "Yes." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Every intoxicant is forbidden. And indeed, Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, has a covenant for whoever drinks intoxicants that He will give him to drink from *tinat al-khabal*." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, and what is *tinat al-khabal*?" He said: "The sweat of the people of the Fire," or "the discharge of the people of the Fire."
