Ali ibn Abdullah al-Madini narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Rabiah al-Sulami narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: "O Jabir, do you not know that Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, brought your father back to life? He said to him: 'Make a wish to Me.' He replied: 'I wish to be returned to the world so that I may be killed again.' He said: 'I have already decreed that they shall not return to it.'"
