'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Humayd, from al-Hasan: "That the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade that a sword be handed over while it is unsheathed."
