'Affan narrated to us, Sulaym ibn Hayyan narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Mina' informed us, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "My likeness and your likeness is like a man who kindled a fire, and moths and grasshoppers began falling into it." He said: "And he was driving them away from it." He said: "And I am holding you by your waistbands away from the Fire, while you are slipping out of my hands."
