Musnad Ahmad 33:776

Sa'id ibn Mansur narrated to us, Ya'qub ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Abi 'Amr, from al-Muttalib ibn 'Abd Allah, from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah, who said: I witnessed the 'Id al-Adha with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, at the prayer ground (musalla). When he finished his sermon, a ram was brought to him, and he slaughtered it with his own hand. He said: "In the name of Allah, and by Allah. O Allah, this is on my behalf, and on behalf of whoever from my nation has not offered a sacrifice."
