'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr informed us, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade us that any one of us should walk in a single sandal."
