'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Qays ibn Sa'd informed us, from 'Ata', from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) arrived when four days of Dhu al-Hijjah had passed. When we performed Tawaf around the House and between al-Safa and al-Marwah, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Make it an 'Umrah, except for those who have the sacrificial animal with them." When the Day of Tarwiyah arrived, they entered into the state of Ihram for Hajj. When the Day of Sacrifice arrived, they performed Tawaf, and they did not perform Tawaf between al-Safa and al-Marwah.
