'Affan narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Zayd narrated to us, Layth informed us, from Abu Bakr—and 'Affan said once: from Abu Bakr ibn Muhammad—from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah al-Ansari, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Whoever revives land that is a call away from the city, or a stone's throw away from the city, then it is his."
