'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Qays ibn Sa'd informed us, from 'Ata', from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah al-Ansari: "That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, slaughtered the camel on behalf of seven, and the cow on behalf of seven."
