Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Ali bin Zaid and Asim al-Ahwal informed us, from Abu Nadra, from Jabir bin Abdullah, who said: "We performed two enjoyments during the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: the Hajj (Tamattu') and the women (Nikah al-Mut'ah)." Hammad also said: "The enjoyment of Hajj and the enjoyment of women." "Then when Umar came, he forbade us from both, so we desisted."
