'Affan narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, Abu Bishr narrated to us, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) requested and asked his family for a condiment. They said: "We have nothing except vinegar." He said: So he called for it, and he began to eat with it, and he said: "What an excellent condiment is vinegar."
