Hadith 33:813
'Affan narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us, Ja'far narrated to us, from his father, from Jabir, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to Al-'Aliyah and passed by the market. He passed by a dead, small-eared kid (goat), so he took hold of it and lifted it. Then he said, "How much would you like for this to be yours?" They said, "We would not like it to be ours for anything; what would we do with it?" He said, "How much would you like for it to be yours?" They said, "By Allah, if it were alive, it would be a defect in it that it is small-eared, so how [could we want it] while it is dead?" He said, "By Allah, the world is more insignificant to Allah than this is to you."
