Musnad Ahmad 33:816

'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Husayn and 'Amr ibn Murrah informed me, they heard Salim, he said: I heard Jabir, he said: Thirst afflicted us, so we rushed to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He said: He placed his hand in a vessel of water that was before him, and it began to gush from between his fingers as if they were springs. And 'Amr and Husayn both said: He said: "Take, in the name of Allah," until it sufficed us and was enough for us. And he said to Jabir: "How many were you?" He said: "We were one thousand five hundred, and if we had been one hundred thousand, it would have sufficed us."
