Abu Nu'aym narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Who will bring me news of the people on the Day of the Confederates (al-Ahzab)?" Al-Zubayr said: "I will." Then he said: "Who will bring me news of the people?" Al-Zubayr said: "I will." He said: "Who will bring me news of the people?" Al-Zubayr said: "I will." He said: "Every prophet has a disciple (hawari), and my disciple is al-Zubayr."
