Hadith 33:827
Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri narrated to us, Qatan narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and we did not think except that we were pilgrims. When we arrived in Makkah, it was announced among us: "Whoever among you does not have a sacrificial animal with him, let him exit [the state of ihram], and whoever has a sacrificial animal with him, let him remain in his state of ihram." He said: So the people exited [the state of ihram] for an 'Umrah, except for those who had brought the sacrificial animals. He said: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, remained, and with him were one hundred camels. Ali arrived from Yemen, and he [the Prophet] said to him: "With what did you enter into ihram?" He said: I said: "O Allah, I enter into ihram with that which Your Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, has entered into ihram." He said: So he gave him more than thirty of the camels. He said: Then they both remained in their state of ihram until the sacrificial animals reached their place.
