Isma'il ibn Aban al-Warraq Abu Ishaq narrated to us, Ya'qub narrated to us, 'Isa ibn Jariyah informed us, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, who said: Ibn Umm Maktum came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, my house is far away, and I am blind, and I hear the Adhan." He said: "If you hear the Adhan, then answer it, even if by crawling" or "dragging yourself."
